God is a never-ending source of support and courage for those who call upon Him. When we are weary, He gives us strength. When we see no hope, He reminds us of His promises. When we grieve, God wipes away our tears. Do the demands of this day threaten to overwhelm you? If so, you must rely not only upon your resources but also upon the promises of your Father in Heaven. What God promises is that He always comes. He always shows up. He always saves. He always rescues. His timing is not ours. His methods are usually unconventional. But what we can know, what we can settle in our soul, is that He is faithful to come when we call. God will hold our hands and walk with us daily if we let Him. So if our circumstances are difficult, trust the Father. His Love is eternal, and His goodness endures forever. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. Whatever the day may bring, let us thank Him for His love and strength. — 1 Peter 5:6-7
