When we seek righteousness in our own lives and when we seek the companionship of those who do likewise, we reap the spiritual rewards that God intends for us to enjoy. When we behave ourselves as godly people, we honor God. When we live righteously and according to God’s commandments, He blesses us in ways that we cannot fully understand. Today as we fulfill our responsibilities, let us hold fast to that which is good, and associate ourselves with believers who behave themselves in like fashion. When we do, our good works will serve as a powerful example for others and as a worthy offering to our Creator. We are to leave an impression on all those we meet that communicates who we are, and what kingdom we represent. This world has countless temptations, distractions, interruptions, and frustrations. When we allow our focus to drift away from God, and His Word we suffer. But when we turn our thoughts and our prayers to Him, He guides our paths. Let us discover the right thing to do- and let us do them- this day and every day we live. — 1 John 2:3
