All humanity is engaged in a colossal worldwide treasure hunt. Some people seek treasure from earthly sources, with prizes such as material wealth or public acclaim. In contrast, others seek God's treasures by making Him the cornerstone of their lives. So what kind of treasure hunter are you? Are you so caught up with the demands of everyday living that you sometimes allow the search for worldly treasures to become your primary focus? If so, it is time to think long and hard about what you value and why? Usually, all items on a to-do list have different prioritization levels. Hence, we must put “first things first” by placing God in His rightful place, the indisputable position of first position/place. Worldly treasures are finite and temporary, but Godly treasures are ever faithful and everlasting. Focusing on Godly treasures leads to blessings, while concentrating solely on earthly treasures leads to disturbance and trouble. So, which treasures will you claim? — Luke 12:34
