If the Lord Jesus Christ, who was perfect in His relationship with the Father, felt it necessary to seclude Himself for His times of prayer, then should we not make provisions for such solitude? The Lord wants us to be alone with Him, so He can have our undivided attention and where we can share our hearts, joys, and sorrows with Him without reservation. This personal time is because we are His delight. He wants to put His loving arms around us and remind us of His unwavering commitment and care. God loves us. We must dedicate time alone with Him to experience the blessings of having the Creator of all that exists to ourselves in deep, intimate, and profoundly satisfying communion. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to have us all to Himself. Let us give Him our undivided attention. — Mark 1:35
