Venerable Moses Akinola

Venerable Moses Olusoji Akinola is an esteemed Archdeacon and Senior Priest in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion. He is recognized for his roles as an inspiring, visionary, and deliverance minister. Akinola has hosted the renowned weekly radio broadcast “Hours of Healing and Deliverance” for nearly two decades, showcasing his dedication to prayer and evangelism.

Originally from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, Akinola’s academic journey took him through Ibadan, Ile Ife, and Abeokuta. His academic credentials are extensive, including a Diploma in Theology, a Diploma in Religious Studies, a B.A. in Religious Studies, a Master’s in Theology, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion and Theology. His professional journey has seen him in significant roles within several Christian organizations, including the International Bible Reading Association (IBRA), the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Venerable Akinola’s ministry focuses on restoring the glory of the Lord’s people, healing the sick and brokenhearted, and upholding marriages to contribute to effective nation-building. Akinola’s personal interests include preaching, counseling, praying, singing, reading, and playing the organ (musical instrument). He is married to Deborah Adewumi Akinola and they are blessed with four children.
