The Lord wants to do tremendous things in our lives, but He graciously gives us the opportunity of participating. He wants to know how serious we are about crossing our Jordan river and claiming the promised land, He has prepared. There is no limit to what He can do, if we will dare to get the soles of our feet wet. Imagine the trust and commitment those priests had, to take that first step. Often the first step to realizing a miracle of God in our lives is to ask for guidance, receive a promise, and then act as if it were ours. Asking to ask, then asking and thanking the Lord with praise really works. The crucial thing about the miracle of the rolling back of the waters of the Jordanian river is that, it was exactly what the Lord told Joshua would happen if the priests were courageous enough to believe and take Him at His Word. Have we acted on what God has told us to do? Let us do them today! Today let us take the first step, knowing that God will honor our obedience.  – Joshua 3:13
