Today let us think about the gift of words. Our words can be used to multiply the kingdom of God—Words of love, forgiveness, encouragement and hope. We can use the testimonies of what God has done for us to share the adventure of new life with other people. They will listen to what Christ can do for them if there has been authenticity in our life and words. We are to be people who can be trusted; people will share their needs and dreams with us, but we can break down that trust by using our words for gossip, negative criticism and backbiting. We will all have to make an account of what we did with the precious gift of words. We have to use our words to share Christ’s love. The Lord has arranged relationships for all of us, with people He wants to love through our expressions of words of love and an explanation of what He means to us and can mean to them. Today is the day to dig up our talent of words and invest it in sharing love and hope with others. — Matthew 25:15.
