We all experience seasons in life that are confusing, discouraging or even when nothing seems to go according to plan. We may call this our wilderness. Our wilderness experience may vary in length and intensity, but these times of testing can teach us lessons we can never learn on the mountaintop. The truth is that we can never be perfect, we make mistakes, we fall down and become disappointed in our selves. Many of the hardships we face come as a result of our disobedience and lack of faith, but with every step, God leads us towards grace.
Confrontations and troubles are inevitable, but God is faithful. We can count on Him. The faithfulness of God is flawless. God is with us in the wilderness. His presence is our refuge. His provision is our hope. God has promised that when we walk faithfully with Him and when He becomes an integral part of our every day lives, His Spirit will guide us in such a way that His protection will surround every thing we do and say. God wants to take us gently by the hand and lead us, so that we are blessed and He is glorified. Why not invite Him in!
