On the sunnier days of life, we find it easier to praise God, trust Him, and give thanks. But when we endure the storms of bitterness and despair, trusting God is sometimes more difficult. The next time we find our courage tested to the limit, let us lean upon God's promises. When we are worried, anxious, or afraid, call upon Jesus. God can manage our troubles infinitely better than we can, so let us turn them over to Him. Remember that God rules both the sunny days and the darker ones with limitless wisdom and love, now and forever. Trusting God means having faith that He knows what is best for our lives. We expect Him to keep His promises, help us with our problems, and do the impossible when necessary. We need to develop a trusting relationship with God through faith in Him. God is our refuge! What issues do you long for God to answer? How can you find rest and release through faith—that God's perspective for our lives is in perfect alignment with His ultimate purposes. — Psalm 62:8
