God has promised to lift us and guide our steps if we let Him do so. Also, God has promised that when we entrust our lives to Him completely and without reservation, He will give us the strength to meet any hardships or sorrow we may encounter. God's hand uplifts those who turn their hearts and prayers to Him. Can we be counted among that number? Can we accept God's peace and wear God's armor against the difficulties of this world? If we do, we can live courageously and hopefully, knowing that our loving, unfailing, and uplifting God will shield and protect us. When we are hurting, unsure, or saddened, let us allow God to cradle us, comfort us, and reassure us of His all-sufficient power and love. As we face the challenges of this world, let us lean upon God today and forever. — Isaiah 46:4
