Unite in prayer

Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, summoned the wise men of the land. He wanted them to interpret a dream he had and tell him what that dream was. The king was not merely looking for people’s advice but for someone who heard from God. That royal decree sent Daniel to his fellow believers, just as tough times should send us to fellow Christians to enlist their prayers and support. We do not have to face life’s challenges alone. We can join our hearts in prayer with other believers to seek God’s intervention, guidance, power, and hope. So, when we are in a precarious situation, let us look first at God. Then see whom He has placed alongside us to intercede in prayer and help us carry the burden. Finally, ask our Heavenly Father to show us who can walk beside us, extending their prayers and support—and then invite them to journey with us. May God bless us all. No problem is too complex when God’s people unite before God’s throne. — to Daniel 2:17-18.
