We have many reasons to celebrate God in His heaven, Christ is risen and we are the sheep of His flock. Yet sometimes we can become discouraged. After all, we live in a world where expectations can be high and demands can be even higher. We are most vulnerable to the piercing winds of doubt when we distant ourselves from the mission and fellowship to which Christ has called us. If we become discouraged with the direction of our days or lives, we have to turn our thoughts and prayers to God. He is a God of possibility not negativity. Our nights of discouragement will seem endless and our tasks impossible, unless we recognize that He stands in our midst. He will help us count our blessings instead of our hardships. With a renewed spirit of optimism and hope, we can properly thank our Father in heaven for His blessings, for His love, and for His Son. We have to place our hopes and trust in God today and every day. Do not delay further!
