Prayer is essentially a conversation with the most loving dad in the universe. Prayer is not complicated. It is simply coming before God, acknowledging Him as Abba Father, and bringing our needs/requests to Him. Prayer is communicating directly with God, through the saving Grace paid for by Jesus's sacrifice, and by the power of the Holy Spirit. If we are not talking to God through prayer, then we are not enjoying the full blessings of Calvary. Jesus died and rose again so we might know the Father. In the disciples' prayer (Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4), Jesus teaches us how to bring our prayers, requests, and supplications to our Heavenly Father. So let us go forth and enjoy the blessing made freely available to us as Children of God. — John 16:23
