We are to rejoice! Why? The Lord is at hand. That is the reason we can be free from worry. Each problem, challenges, etc., should be surrendered to the Lord in prayer, asking for His guidance and power. Then the peace of God will come flooding into our minds and hearts. We cannot produce the peace of God. It is impossible to capture it. Nor can we earn or deserve it. Peace is a gift of God. It costs Jesus the Calvary. Peace is the Spirit of God in Christ reproducing His character in us. Jesus Christ "God with us" exemplified peace. We can enjoy this Peace through praying; right thinking and right living. When we focus on Christ, joy and peace will flood our lives. Let us apply these basic truths to our lives and we will experience the difference in lives! ~Philippians 4:6
